STEP 1
Customer agrees to install eligible equipment, contacts their oil heat supplier and enters the rebate program.STEP 2
Supplier begins submission process with the customer.STEP 3
Supplier receives installation details from customer or installer – including make, model and efficiency ratings, installer’s license number and a copy of the sales receipt.STEP 4
Supplier submits the completed Rebate Submission form to OECA and NORA.STEP 5
Customer receives rebate check directly from NORA and enjoys their new, efficient home heating system.
Consumers Can Also Receive Up To $600 in a Federal Income Tax Credit
If the liquid fuel fired appliances meet qualifications, homeowners can claim the credit using IRS Form 5695, “Residential Energy Credits.”
