The hot water tank brands we sell include Bradford White, State, AO Smith and Locinvar. These are top-rated brands we found on recent consumer report magazines and have had great experiences with.
Heated Floors
Hydronic systems are an extremely cost-effective radiant heating systems and are practical for all types of applications. Hydronic radiant floor systems pump heated water from a boiler through tubing laid in a pattern underneath the floor. In some systems, the temperature in each room is controlled by regulating the flow of hot water through each tubing loop. This is done by a system of zoning valves or pumps and thermostats. The cost of installing a hydronic radiant floor depends on the size of the home, the type of installation, the floor covering, and the remoteness of the site. Installing your radiant floor doesn’t always involve replacing the floor altogether. It’s possible to attach radiant tubing to the under side of the flooring if you have access to it. For example: Your kitchen has the original natural wood floors. Because your home is an older home built in the 30′s with solid construction and minimal insulation, the temperature never really gets to where you want it and your kitchen isn’t as comfortable as you wished it was. Using a method called “staple up heating,” you can turn your beautiful wood floors into a cozy heat element by fastening hydronic tubing to the bottom of the subfloor in between your floor columns. Hot water will then flow threw the tubing transferring their heat into the floor. This heat can be felt on your feet as you walk across your kitchen and this will increase the entire room temp to your liking.
Gas Logs: Vented or Vent-Free
Looking for a way to cozy up your living or family room? We do complete installation of gas logs from vented to vent-free sets. The right set of gas logs can transform your fireplace into the focal point of your home. We offer every style of vented gas logs or vent-free gas logs and we at A.C. Plumbing will help you make the best decision for your home.
Vented Gas Logs
Vented Log Sets are made to be used in fireboxes that would conventionally be used for a real wood-burning fire. The true value in a vented gas log set is how realistic they look. Latest improvements in gas log technology have greatly enhanced the look, feel and quality of the flame that is produced. Vented logs produce a loftier flame as well, allowing it to look more like a wood fuel flame.
